Invoices and Receipts
Hi.Events can generate invoices and receipts for orders. These are useful for attendees who need documentation for expense reports, accounting, or tax purposes.
How Invoices Work
Invoices are generated automatically for completed orders. They include:
- Order reference number
- Buyer details (name and email)
- Line items (ticket names, quantities, and prices)
- Taxes and fees (if applicable)
- Total amount paid
- Payment date
Accessing Invoices
Buyers can access their invoice from the order confirmation page. You can also resend the confirmation email which includes the invoice link.
Customization
Invoice details like your organization name and address are pulled from your organizer settings. Make sure your Address information is up to date in Organizer Settings to ensure invoices look professional.
Tips
- Keep your organizer address current — it appears on all invoices
- Attendees requesting invoices for business expenses can access them from their order confirmation link
