5,000+ organizers trust Hi.Events

Concert ticketing.
Paid before the doors open.

Hi.Events is a concert ticketing system for promoters, bands and venues. It costs 1.25% + $0.60 per paid ticket, the money lands in your own Stripe account as tickets sell, and the fans you sell to stay your fans.

Selling 250 tickets at $30? You'd keep $481 more than on Eventbrite.

Deposits covered before show day

Card payments settle into your own Stripe account as tickets sell, so the artist guarantee and the PA hire are not waiting on a payout after the gig.

Releases that sell the room

Early bird, second release and final release on one page, each with its own allocation and sale window, all drawing on one room capacity.

A door that keeps moving

Door staff open a check-in link on their own phones and scan. Every device sees the same live count, and the guest list is on the same list.

Why organizers move to Hi.Events

We’ve used Hi.Events now for a few events and really love it. It’s also been fun to see improvements roll out as we go. We’re definitely never going back to Eventbrite.

§ 03 · Tickets

How a 400-capacity show is usually set up

One event, one shared capacity of 400, and a ticket type for each release. When the room is full, every ticket type stops selling at once.

  • Early bird

A fixed allocation at a lower price, with a sale window that closes on a date you choose.

  • General admission

Tiered pricing: each release is a price level with its own quantity and sale dates, so the cheaper ones run out or close first.

  • Guest list and comps

A hidden free ticket that only a promo code unlocks, or guests added by hand without an order.

  • Meet and greet or merch bundle

An add-on attached to the ticket, or sold on its own, with its own stock limit.

  • Support act and promoter links

A tracked link for each, so you can see who sold what on the dashboard.

  • Sold out

A waitlist that offers tickets automatically when a cancelled ticket frees a place.

Check-in

Send your door staff a link. That is the setup.

No app to install, no account to create, no scanner to rent. Scan with a phone camera or a USB scanner, or search a name and tap.

  • Every device sees the same counts as the queue moves
  • A separate list per entrance, each with its own live count
  • Guest list and paid tickets on one list
  • Undo a check-in in one tap

§ 07 · FAQ

Before you put the show on sale

How much does it cost to sell concert tickets on Hi.Events?
Free shows cost nothing. Paid tickets are 1.25% plus a small fixed amount per ticket: 60¢ in the US, €0.50 in the EU, 45p in the UK and A$0.85 in Australia. There is no monthly fee and no contract. You can pass the fee to the buyer at checkout or absorb it, and Stripe charges its card processing separately.See pricing →
When do I get the ticket money?
You connect your own Stripe account and card payments settle into it directly as tickets sell, on your Stripe payout schedule. Hi.Events never holds the money, so deposits, backline and travel can be paid from ticket sales before the show.Connecting Stripe →
Can I run early bird, second release and final release tickets?
Yes. Use tiered pricing on one ticket, giving each release its own price, quantity and sale dates, or create separate ticket types with their own sale windows. Either way they can share one capacity, so the room cannot be oversold.Tiered pricing →
How do guest lists and comps work?
Create a hidden free ticket that only a promo code unlocks and send the code to the people on the list, or add guests by hand from the attendee page without an order. Either way they get a QR ticket and appear on the same check-in list as paying fans.
Do fans need an account or an app?
No. They check out on your event page, get their ticket by email, and show its QR code on their phone or on paper. There is nothing to download.
Does Hi.Events do reserved seating for seated concerts?
No. Hi.Events sells general admission and tiered tickets, so you can sell sections such as stalls and balcony as separate ticket types with their own capacity, but buyers cannot pick a numbered seat. If you need a seat map, the comparison of concert ticketing platforms lists the ones that have one.Concert ticketing platforms compared →
Will Hi.Events promote my show?
No. There is no consumer marketplace or app. You sell from your own event page, your website and your socials, which also means your buyers are never shown someone else's gig and your attendee list is not marketed to.
Can I sell tickets for a whole tour or a weekly residency?
Yes. Duplicate an event for each date on a tour, or set up a recurring schedule for a residency so every date shares one page, with the price, capacity or times changed on any single night.Recurring events →
