Registration Questions

Registration questions let you collect custom information from attendees during checkout — such as dietary requirements, t-shirt sizes, company names, or anything else you need.

How to Get There

  1. Open your event
  2. Click Registration Questions in the left sidebar (under Setup & Design)

Creating a Question

  1. Click + Create
  2. Choose the question type
  3. Enter the question text
  4. Configure whether the question is required or optional
  5. Select which ticket types the question applies to

Question Types

  • Short text — a single-line text input
  • Long text — a multi-line textarea
  • Single choice (radio) — select one option from a list
  • Multiple choice (checkbox) — select one or more options
  • Dropdown — select one option from a dropdown menu

Applying to Specific Tickets

Each question can be set to appear for all ticket types or only specific ones. For example, you might ask for a dietary requirement only on tickets that include meals.

Viewing Responses

Attendee answers appear on:

  • The individual attendee detail page
  • Exportable attendee data

Tips

  • Keep questions minimal to reduce checkout friction
  • Mark questions as required only when truly necessary
  • Use dropdown or single choice for questions with fixed options — it is easier for attendees and cleaner for your data
