5,000+ organizers trust Hi.Events

Venue ticketing software.
Every show on one page.

Hi.Events is an online ticketing platform for venues. It costs 1.25% + $0.60 per paid ticket, every show sits on one branded page, and the money lands in the venue's own Stripe account as tickets sell.

Selling 250 tickets at $30? You'd keep $481 more than on Eventbrite.

One page for the whole calendar

A branded organizer page lists every show on sale at the venue, and the checkout widget puts the same tickets on your own website.

The next show is a copy of the last

Save the room once as a venue, duplicate an event for the next date, and run weekly nights as one recurring schedule.

Ticket money in the venue's account

Card payments settle into your own Stripe account as tickets sell, on your Stripe payout schedule. Hi.Events never holds the money.

§ 01 · Organizers

Why organizers move to Hi.Events

We’ve used Hi.Events now for a few events and really love it. It’s also been fun to see improvements roll out as we go. We’re definitely never going back to Eventbrite.

§ 03 · Tickets

How a venue ticketing system is set up for a 300-capacity room

One organizer profile for the venue, the room saved once, and an event for each show. A shared capacity of 300 means every ticket type stops selling at once when the room is full.

  • The room

Saved once as a venue with its address, then reused on every new event.

  • One-off shows

Duplicate the last show with its tickets, questions, promo codes and check-in lists, then change the name and the date.

  • Weekly nights

A recurring schedule with every date on one page, and the price, capacity or times changed on any single night.

  • Outside promoters

A tracked link for each promoter, so the dashboard shows what each one sold.

  • A second room

A separate organizer profile under the same account, with its own page listing its own shows.

  • Front door and side entrance

A check-in list for each entrance, opened from a link on any phone, each with its own live count.

§ 04 · Weekly nights

Every frame is a screenshot from a live event.

Recurring schedules

Set the rule once. Every date goes on sale.

A quiz night, a comedy club or a weekly residency is one event with a schedule, not fifty-two separate events. Buyers pick their date on one page.

  • Schedules of up to 1,200 sessions
  • Change the price, capacity or times on any single date
  • Capacity set per date, so each night sells out on its own
  • Buyers pick a date and a time on one page

§ 07 · FAQ

Before you move the venue's ticketing

How much does venue ticketing software cost on Hi.Events?
Free events cost nothing. Paid tickets are 1.25% plus a small fixed amount per ticket: 60¢ in the US, €0.50 in the EU, 45p in the UK and A$0.85 in Australia. There is no monthly fee and no contract, however many shows the venue puts on. You can pass the fee to the buyer at checkout or absorb it, and Stripe charges its card processing separately.See pricing →
When does the venue get the ticket money?
You connect the venue's own Stripe account and card payments settle into it directly as tickets sell, on your Stripe payout schedule. Hi.Events never holds the money, so there is no payout to wait for after each show.Connecting Stripe →
Can one account cover two rooms, or shows run by outside promoters?
Yes. An account can hold several organizer profiles, each with its own page and its own events, so a second room or a promoter's series can sit apart from the main calendar. Team members are invited as admins or as organizers, who manage events but not account settings or billing. For promoters who only sell tickets to your shows, give each one a tracked link and the dashboard shows what they sold.Managing your team →Tracked affiliate links →
How do weekly nights and repeat shows work?
Set up a recurring schedule for a weekly night, so every date shares one page and you can change the price, capacity or times on any single night. For one-off shows, duplicate the previous event with its tickets, settings and check-in lists, and pick the saved venue rather than typing the address again.Recurring events →Duplicating an event →
Does this venue ticketing system do reserved seating or seat maps?
No. Hi.Events sells general admission and tiered tickets, so you can sell areas such as stalls and balcony as separate ticket types with their own capacity, but buyers cannot pick a numbered seat. If the room needs a seat map, the comparison of ticketing platforms for venues lists the ones that have one.Ticketing platforms for venues compared →
Is there a box office or point-of-sale system for walk-up sales?
No. Hi.Events has no box office hardware, ticket printers or point-of-sale app. For sales on the door you can add attendees by hand without an order, or turn on offline payment with instructions you write. Check-in runs from a link on any phone, or on a laptop with a USB scanner.Offline payments →
Will Hi.Events list the venue's shows to its own audience?
No. There is no consumer marketplace or app. Tickets sell from the venue's organizer page, its website and its socials, which also means buyers are never shown another venue's shows and the attendee list is not marketed to.
Is Hi.Events an open source venue ticketing system?
Yes. The code is open source under the AGPL license, and a venue can run it on its own server instead of using Hi.Events Cloud. Hi.Events Cloud is the hosted version, with nothing to install or maintain and the per-ticket fee above. Self-hosting has no platform fee.Open source event ticketing →
