Publishing and Sharing Your Event

Events in Hi.Events start as a Draft by default. They are not visible to the public until you publish them.

Publish Your Event

To make your event live:

  1. Go to your organizer dashboard
  2. Look for the status indicator in the top bar — it shows either Draft or Live
  3. Click the status to toggle between Draft and Live

When your event is Live, it is publicly visible and attendees can view the event page and purchase tickets.

Sharing Your Event

Once published, share your event using:

  • Direct link — every event has a unique URL you can copy and share
  • Social sharing — share directly to social media platforms
  • Widget embed — embed a ticket purchase form on your own website
  • QR code — generate a scannable code for printed materials

Unpublishing

You can switch a live event back to Draft at any time. This hides the event page from public view but does not affect existing orders or attendees.

Tip: Preview your event page before publishing to make sure everything looks right. You can access the preview from the event dashboard.
