5,000+ organizers trust Hi.Events

Rave ticketing.
Without the 10% on top.

1.25% + $0.60 a ticket. Your crowd doesn't need an app or an account, and the money goes into your own Stripe account as tickets sell, so the rig is paid for before the doors open.

What your crowd pays in fees on a $30 ticket
$0.98Hi.Events
$2.90Eventbrite
$3.00Resident Advisor
$3.90DICE

Resident Advisor and DICE's fees cover card processing. On Hi.Events you pay Stripe's 2.9% + $0.30 yourself, or add it to the fee.

Smaller fees at checkout

Pass the fee on and your crowd pays 1.25% plus a small fixed fee, not a tenth of the ticket price. Or absorb it and show one price.

Paid as tickets sell

The money goes straight into your Stripe account, not held until after the event. Pay the venue, the sound and the DJs before the night.

Drop the location on time

Keep the address off the page, then schedule a message that sends it to every ticket holder an hour before doors, or whenever you like.

§ 01 · Organizers

Why organizers move to Hi.Events

We’ve used Hi.Events now for a few events and really love it. It’s also been fun to see improvements roll out as we go. We’re definitely never going back to Eventbrite.

How a 600-capacity warehouse party is set up

One event with one capacity, and tiers that go up in price as each one sells out. When the party is full, every ticket type stops selling.

  • Early bird

The cheapest tier, with a set number of tickets. It closes when they sell out or on a date you choose.

  • Tier 1, 2 and 3

More tiers on the same ticket, each with its own price and quantity. Each one goes on sale when the one before it sells out.

  • Final release

The last tier, held back until the week of the party and put on sale at a time you choose.

  • Guestlist

A hidden free ticket that only a code unlocks, or names you add by hand. Guests are on the same door list as everyone else.

  • Reps and DJs

A tracked link for each one, so you can see how many orders and how much revenue each person brought in.

  • Location drop

A message with the address, scheduled to go to every ticket holder at the time you pick.

  • Sold out

A waitlist. When a ticket is cancelled, it is offered to the next person in line automatically.

  • The door

A check-in link for each entrance that works on any phone.

Check-in

Send the door team a link. That's the setup.

No app, no logins and no scanners to hire. Scan the QR code with a phone camera, or search for a name.

  • A live count for each list, on any phone
  • A separate list for each entrance
  • Guestlist and paid tickets on one list
  • Undo a scan in one tap

§ 07 · FAQ

Before you go on sale

How much does it cost to sell rave tickets on Hi.Events?
Free parties cost nothing. Paid tickets are 1.25% plus a small fixed amount: 60¢ in the US, €0.50 in the EU, 45p in the UK and A$0.85 in Australia. There is no monthly fee and no contract. You can pass the fee on at checkout or include it in one price. Stripe charges its card processing separately.See pricing →
Why is it cheaper than Resident Advisor or DICE?
Listings platforms like Resident Advisor, DICE, Fatsoma and Skiddle typically take around 10% of each ticket, partly because they bring you an audience. Hi.Events has no marketplace, so it doesn't charge like one. If your crowd already finds you through your socials and group chats, you don't need to pay for discovery.Rave ticketing platforms compared →
Can I keep the location secret until the day?
Yes. Leave the address off the event page, write a message with the location, and schedule it to send to every ticket holder. Pick one hour before, one day before, or any date and time you want.Sending messages →
When do I get the money?
As tickets sell. You connect your own Stripe account, and card payments go into it on your normal Stripe payout schedule. Hi.Events never holds the money, so you are not waiting until after the party to pay for it.Connecting Stripe →
Can I do early bird and tiered tickets?
Yes. Give a ticket several tiers, each with its own price, quantity and sale dates. Or turn on Release tiers in order, so each tier opens once the one before it sells out. Put every ticket type in one shared capacity and the party can't oversell.Tiered pricing →
How do rep links work?
Make a tracked link for each rep, DJ or collective. Every order through a link is counted on your Affiliates page, so you can see who sold what. You pay any commission to your reps yourself.Tracked affiliate links →
How does the guestlist work?
Make a hidden free ticket that only a code unlocks and send the code to your guests, or add names by hand. Either way, guests get a QR ticket and appear on the same door list as everyone else.Hidden tickets →
Does anyone need an app or an account?
No. People buy on your event page, get their ticket by email and show the QR code on their phone. There is nothing to download and nothing to sign up for.
Is there resale when a party sells out?
There is no official resale. Turn on the waitlist instead: when a ticket is refunded, it is offered to the next person in line automatically, at the price you set.Waitlists →
Will Hi.Events promote my party?
No. There is no marketplace and no app. You sell through your own page, socials and mailing list, so your crowd is never pointed to someone else's party, and your attendee list stays yours.

Put your next party on sale

Create the event, send your reps their links and send the door team theirs. No card details, no sales call.
