Online Events

Hi.Events supports online events — webinars, virtual conferences, livestreams, or any event without a physical venue. Attendees receive connection details after purchasing a ticket.

Marking an Event as Online

  1. Go to Event Settings
  2. Click the Location tab
  3. Toggle Is Online Event on

When enabled, the venue address fields are replaced with a connection details editor.

Connection Details

Enter the information attendees need to join:

  • Zoom, Google Meet, or other video link
  • Passcodes or meeting IDs
  • Instructions for joining

Connection details are shown to ticket holders only — they appear on the order confirmation page and in the ticket email. Non-ticket-holders cannot see them.

Hybrid Events

For events that are both in-person and online, enable the online toggle and also fill in the venue address. Attendees see both the physical location and the online connection details.
