Best dance class booking platforms

Taking bookings for adult dance classes and socials comes down to four questions: what the fee does to a cheap drop-in, whether a weekly night can live on one page, how walk-ins pay at the door, and whether dancers can book on your own website. These are the per-booking platforms dance teachers and social organizers shortlist, with each one's published fee. Software for kids' dance schools with monthly tuition billing is a different kind of product, and is not on this list.

Fees and features from each platform's own pricing pages, checked September 2026. We make Hi.Events, so it is listed first and labelled. Every figure for the others is sourced on its comparison page.

§ 03 · FAQ

Choosing a dance class ticketing platform

What does each platform cost on a $15 drop-in class?
Counting card processing on every platform, the cheapest on this list in US dollars are TryBooking ($0.94), Luma ($1.49), Hi.Events ($1.52), Skiddle ($1.85). Percentage fees grow with the ticket price and flat fees do not, so the order changes on cheaper and dearer tickets; the table on this page shows every platform in four currencies.
Which dance class booking platform has the lowest fees?
On a cheap drop-in class, the fixed part of a fee matters most. Eventbrite's US fee of 3.7% plus $1.79 is large next to a $15 class, while a percentage-only fee like Luma's 5% stays small. The fee table on this page shows each platform's all-in cost on the same class, including card processing where it is charged on top.
Which platforms can sell a weekly class as one listing?
Eventbrite, Skiddle, Humanitix, TryBooking and Hi.Events all have recurring events. Hi.Events runs schedules of up to 1,200 sessions with up to 24 labelled time slots a day, so several levels and a social fit on one night. Luma has no recurring events, so each class is cloned as its own event.
Which platforms take payments at the door?
Eventbrite and Humanitix sell at the door from their organizer apps, Skiddle from its RapidScan app, TryBooking has a box office, and Hi.Events has a browser-based box office with Stripe card readers. Luma has no box office.
