Best exhibition ticketing platforms

Exhibition ticketing comes down to four questions: what free trade registration and paid public tickets cost in fees, whether the platform handles day tickets and timed entry, what you can ask visitors at registration, and when you get the money for hall hire. These are the platforms exhibition and trade show organizers shortlist, with each one's published fee and what it is good at.

Fees and features from each platform's own pricing pages, checked September 2026. We make Hi.Events, so it is listed first and labelled. Every figure for the others is sourced on its comparison page.

§ 03 · FAQ

Choosing a exhibition ticketing platform

What does each platform cost on a $30 exhibition ticket?
Counting card processing on every platform, the cheapest on this list in US dollars are TryBooking ($1.69), pretix ($1.92), TicketSource ($2.04), Tito ($2.07). Percentage fees grow with the ticket price and flat fees do not, so the order changes on cheaper and dearer tickets; the table on this page shows every platform in four currencies.
Which exhibition ticketing platform has the lowest fees?
It depends on the ticket price, the country and how many of your tickets are free. Hi.Events, Eventbrite, Tito, Universe, TryBooking and TicketSource charge nothing for free tickets, and pretix charges €0.50 for each free ticket after the first 500 a year. For paid tickets, the fee table on this page shows each platform's all-in cost on the same ticket, including card processing where it is charged on top.
Which platforms handle timed entry for exhibitions?
Eventbrite and Universe both list timed entry, TryBooking has session times and pretix has event series. Hi.Events uses a recurring schedule with up to 24 slots a day and a capacity for each session. We could not confirm recurring sessions for Tito or TicketSource from their published material.
Which platforms pay out before the show opens?
Platforms that use your own payment account pay as tickets sell: Hi.Events through Stripe, Tito through Stripe or PayPal, and pretix through your own payment provider. Eventbrite pays out after the event by default. Universe and TicketSource do the same unless you connect your own Stripe account, and TryBooking pays on request from your balance, with requests before the event sometimes held for checks of up to seven days.
