Best charity event ticketing platforms

A fundraiser wants as much of each ticket as possible to reach the cause, so the questions are whether the platform has a charity rate, who pays the fee, whether donations and receipts are handled, and when the money arrives. These are the platforms charities and fundraisers shortlist, with each one's published fee and what it offers nonprofits.

Fees and features from each platform's own pricing pages, checked September 2026. We make Hi.Events, so it is listed first and labelled. Every figure for the others is sourced on its comparison page.

§ 03 · FAQ

Choosing a fundraiser ticketing platform

What does each platform cost on a $30 fundraiser ticket?
Counting card processing on every platform, the cheapest on this list in US dollars are Zeffy ($0.00, registered nonprofits only), TryBooking ($1.69), TicketSource ($2.04), Tito ($2.07). Percentage fees grow with the ticket price and flat fees do not, so the order changes on cheaper and dearer tickets; the table on this page shows every platform in four currencies.
Which ticketing platforms offer a charity or nonprofit rate?
Zeffy charges registered nonprofits 0% and covers card fees, funded by an optional contribution from buyers. Humanitix has lower rates for charities, not-for-profits and schools, such as 1% + $0.99 plus processing in the US. TicketSource has a charity discount, and Tito has a 2.5% rate that charity and community events can apply for. Hi.Events has no separate nonprofit rate.
What is the cheapest way to sell charity event tickets online?
For a registered nonprofit in a country Zeffy supports, Zeffy costs the organization nothing, as long as you are comfortable with buyers being asked for a contribution you cannot remove. Otherwise compare the all-in cost on your own ticket price in the fee table on this page, and check whether the fee can be passed to the buyer. It can on most of this list, but not on Tito.
Which platforms handle donations and tax receipts?
Zeffy is a fundraising platform first, with donations, raffles, auctions, memberships and tax receipts alongside ticketing. TryBooking also runs donation and fundraising pages. Hi.Events takes donations as donation tickets or add-ons but does not issue tax receipts, so receipts would come from your own systems.
