Best art class booking platforms

Selling places on art, pottery and paint and sip classes comes down to four questions: what the fee adds to each place, whether a weekly class can live on one page, how materials are paid for, and whether students can book on your own website. These are the platforms art teachers and studios shortlist, with each one's published fee and what it is good at.

Fees and features from each platform's own pricing pages, checked September 2026. We make Hi.Events, so it is listed first and labelled. Every figure for the others is sourced on its comparison page.

§ 03 · FAQ

Choosing a art class ticketing platform

What does each platform cost on a $45 art class place?
Counting card processing on every platform, the cheapest on this list in US dollars are TryBooking ($2.44), Hi.Events ($2.77), Universe ($3.04), Humanitix ($3.54). Percentage fees grow with the ticket price and flat fees do not, so the order changes on cheaper and dearer tickets; the table on this page shows every platform in four currencies.
Which art class booking platform has the lowest fees?
It depends on the class price and the country. The fixed part of a fee weighs most on a cheap drop-in, and a percentage fee such as Luma's 5% weighs most on an expensive course. The fee table on this page shows each platform's all-in cost on the same place, including card processing where it is charged on top.
Which platforms are good for paint and sip events?
Any platform on this list can sell a paint and sip night as a ticketed event. Eventbrite has a large marketplace where people search for things to do. If you already have a following, Hi.Events sells drinks as add-ons, puts monthly nights on one schedule and charges no monthly fee.
Do I need a marketplace to fill my classes?
Only if you do not already have a following. Eventbrite, Luma, Humanitix, TryBooking and Universe list classes on their own discovery sites, which can help a new studio find its first students. Hi.Events has no marketplace. A studio with its own mailing list, website and socials usually fills the same places without one.
