TryBooking fees
explained for 2026
TryBooking charges 5% + 15p per paid ticket in the UK, and that fee covers card processing. Below: the fee in every currency it publishes, what it comes to on a real ticket, and the same ticket on Hi.Events.
On a £30 ticket, TryBooking costs £1.65 with card processing included. Hi.Events costs £1.48 all-in on the same ticket, 1.25% + £0.45 plus Stripe's 1.5% + £0.20.
What TryBooking charges in each currency
The published standard rate per paid ticket, and the all-in cost on a ticket priced at 20, 50 and 100 in that currency, once card processing is counted.

Standard published rates as of September 2026, before VAT or GST where the platform quotes them that way. Where card processing is charged on top, the all-in figure adds the platform's own stated rate or a standard Stripe rate. Converted from the platform's published rate at approximate exchange rates (1 USD ≈ €0.92, £0.78 and A$1.55); the vendor may price differently, or not sell, in this currency.

The terms behind TryBooking's fee
In Australia the 50c ticket fee drops to 15c on tickets of A$5 or less. By default the buyer pays the per-ticket fee and the organizer pays the percentage, and either can be switched.
