Creating and Managing Promo Codes
Promo codes are a powerful tool for managing ticket sales and access. You can use them to:
- Offer percentage or fixed-amount discounts
- Create hidden VIP or special access tickets
- Enable early bird access to specific ticket types
- Track marketing campaign effectiveness
Creating a Promo Code
1. Access promo code creation
From your event dashboard, click the "Create a Promo Code" button.

2. Name your code
Enter a memorable code name. Make it easy to type but distinctive enough to avoid guessing.

3. Select discount type
Choose between percentage or fixed amount discounts.

4. Set discount amount
Enter the discount amount - in this case, a 50% discount.

5. Choose applicable products
Select which tickets or products the code can be used for.

6. Select specific products
Choose individual products or apply to all.

7. Set usage limits
Optionally limit how many times the code can be used.

8. Create the code
Click "Create Promo Code" to activate your new code.

Testing Your Promo Code
9. View event page
Navigate to your event's public page to test the code.

10. Open promo code entry
Click "Have a promo code?" to reveal the input field.

11. Enter the code
Type in your promo code.

12. Apply the code
Click "Apply Promo Code" to activate the discount.

13. Verify the discount
Check that the discount appears correctly.

Advanced Promo Code Uses
Promo codes can do more than just provide discounts:
